Memory Bank is a short animation I made as part of the 30 Seconds of Sound project by Simon Pyke. The piece is an abstract representation of the way we relive memories. Revisiting an old, dead place in both your brain and your past, breathing new life into it simply by remembering. We then re-experience and re-evaluate these scenarios although they are never quite the same- each time we revisit that place it is changed, slightly distorted somehow.
Pictures below are my process work and pseudo-style frames which I was posting on my Instagram account-@chromaticarcade- during production, holding myself accountable to post an image every day was a great way to keep iterating through designs which really helped the final look.
